Who We Are at Tower 26 Jazz

Started by musician Steven Gordon (Angel City Jazz Emerging Artist Winner), Tower 26 Jazz is a collection of some of LA's best jazz musicians who create memorable live music experiences for private events, from intimate home concerts to elegant receptions, art galleries, weddings and parties of all kinds.

Previous clients include the Los Angeles Music Center, the GRAMMY foundation, Beverly Hills Hilton, The Bel-Air Country Club, Petit Ermitage, and Bloomingdale’s.

Some of the wonderful musicians at Tower 26 include the excellent bass player Kevin Abdella, the fantastic drummer Evan Greer, the incomparable singer Kim Mayo, and the very talented sax/clarinet player Michael Sachs.

Steven, piano, has performed with Esperanza Spalding, Jackson Browne, Jimetta Rose, Kenny Burrell, Tierney Sutton, Barbara Morrison, Bob Mintzer, among others. He has performed at LA venues including LACMA Jazz, Walt Disney Concert Hall, The Blue Whale, Catalina’s Bar and Grill, and World Stage

Steven attended New England Conservatory of Music in Boston where he studied piano with Fred Hersch and Bruce Brubaker. He received his B.A. in Composition for Dance from UCLA where he studied with Kenny Burell and James Newton.
